We believe poverty is the result of being made invisible; we counter it by showing up and staying. We built our Leadership Center within Githogoro to work from the inside out, securing our daily presence on the ground. Yet, the true engine of our longevity is our Generational Mentorship model, a continuous, lifelong chain where program graduates return to guide the next generation, ensuring there is no aging out and the cycle of poverty is changed to a path of purpose.

The Mentorship Chain

Our model is built on a continuous, multi-generational chain of guidance that ensures no one is left behind:

Children are mentored by Youth (typically in their 20s and 30s).

Youth are mentored by Adults (typically in their 40s-50s).

Adults are mentored by Seniors (typically in their 60s to 80s).
